How The Reptilian Brain Controls Us

While working on my MBA master thesis about Neuromarketing I had a chance to explore several articles about the human brain and its magical structure. Reading article by article I was amazed by how the human brain is an interesting and complex organ.

Did you know that although it is the oldest part of our brain we still make most of our decisions by the reptilian brain?

A short overview of the human brain

Our brain is able to receive, interpret and process thousands of sensory simultaneously. It receives information through our five senses: sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing. It controls almost everything in our body and mind. It even determines how we respond to stressful situations by regulating our heart and breathing rate.

In general, the human brain is composed of three main structures: the Cerebrum, the Cerebellum, and the Brainstem.
